BMW Korea is officially launching “The New BMW iX3,” a next-generation premium all-electric Sports Activity Vehicle (SAV) that redefines future mobility, in the domestic market.
The New BMW iX3 is the first mass-produced electric vehicle of the “Neue Klasse,” which achieves futuristic innovation across design, digital, and electrification systems. It modernly inherits the iconic heritage that led innovation in the 1960s while simultaneously presenting a new standard for premium all-electric vehicles.
The New BMW iX3 applied the brand's first cylindrical cell battery technology based on the 6th generation BMW eDrive system. Through the “cell-to-pack” method, which integrates battery cells into a battery pack without a module stage, the energy density of the battery cells was improved by 20% and the driving range by 30%.
Through this, “The New BMW iX3 50 xDrive” model, equipped with a high-voltage battery with a capacity of 113.4kWh, secured a single-charge driving range of up to 611km based on domestic certification standards (805km based on WLTP), proving the highest level of efficiency in its class. By introducing an 800V high-voltage architecture, it also features charging performance that allows it to drive about 250km in just 10 minutes during 350-400kW ultra-fast charging, and a bidirectional charging (V2L) function is also fundamentally installed.

The vehicle's control system has also completely evolved to be software-centered. Four high-performance computer superbrains, “Heart of Joy,” whose data processing capability has improved by up to 20 times compared to before, control driving dynamics, driving assistance, and infotainment independently yet organically.
The exterior emphasized its presence on the road by harmonizing a vertical kidney grill, diagonal daytime running lights, and Iconic Glow lighting, and maximized efficiency by achieving a drag coefficient of 0.24. In the interior, the “BMW Panoramic iDrive” system, including “BMW Panoramic Vision,” which projects information across the entire lower part of the windshield, and the first-applied “3D Head-Up Display,” is applied to provide an intuitive driver-centered environment.
In the domestic market, it will be launched with a single powertrain, the “50 xDrive,” which exerts a maximum output of 469 horsepower, and will be operated in a total of three trims: SE, M Sport, and M Sport Pro. Prices range from 79.9 million won to 91.9 million won, including value-added tax.

'The New BMW iX3' is scheduled to be released on July 6.
