Connecting the Entire Process from R&D Discovery to IP Management·Analysis and Technology Commercialization on a Single Platform
Anypayfive expands its domain from IP management to an AI-based IP·R&D platform by integrating Wizdomain's IP business and TechDNA.
Anypayfive announced on the 31st that it has completed the acquisition of Wizdomain's IP business and TechDNA and will strengthen its AI-based integrated IP·R&D platform services. The company presented its vision of becoming a “private IP ecosystem hub” that connects AI, data, services, and expert networks at the integrated launch ceremony held at the Grand InterContinental Seoul Parnas.
The integration is a strategic merger and acquisition (M&A) that combines Anypayfive's accumulated IP·R&D management capabilities with Wizdomain's global patent search·analysis and data capabilities, as well as TechDNA's R&D analysis and technology commercialization capabilities. Anypayfive expands its business areas from existing IP management to patent search·analysis, R&D intelligence, AI, technology evaluation, and technology commercialization. The core is supporting the entire process from R&D project discovery to patent management·analysis, technology evaluation, and commercialization on a single platform by combining 187 million global patent and technology data with proprietary AI technology.
Anypayfive has secured 12 core AI technologies, including patent valuation, patent classification language models, patent search embedding, large language model (LLM)-based prior art search, graph neural network (GNN)-based patent litigation prediction, technology demand·supply matching, and patent translation, centered around its in-house AI lab.
Through this integration, the previously separate “R&D→IP→commercialization” processes are now connected as a single flow, realizing an integrated platform.
In the R&D phase, it supports research project discovery, technology·market analysis, research management, and electronic research notes. In the IP phase, it provides patent search·analysis, application·management, and patent·technology valuation. In the commercialization phase, it supports technology demand·supply matching, technology transfer, and global expansion, establishing an end-to-end service system.
Anypayfive connects these through its IP integrated management software “IP-Brain” and service platform “ThinkCat,” combining AI, data, services, and expert networks to reduce task disconnections and support data-driven decision-making.
The business model is also transitioning from on-premise software to an AI-based agentic service platform. It utilizes multi-agent and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) technologies to connect data, AI models, and expert services required for business purposes, supporting task execution and decision-making.
AI technologies secured in IP·R&D will be expanded into specialized industrial domains such as manufacturing. By combining multimodal AI-based tacit knowledge·decision support, STT·OCR recognition, big data-based automated predictions, and design predictions with existing patent classification·industry-specific AI models, the company plans to develop specialized AI agentic services for industries and domains.
Global market expansion is also underway. Currently serving 42 countries, the integration has secured Wizdomain's Japan business base. Wizdomain's Japan branch has approximately 300 customers and 115 regular service customers. Anypayfive will supply new AI and patent intelligence services to existing Japanese customers and utilize Japan as a key hub for global business expansion.
