
Orchestro Group has unveiled its 'Orchestro 4.0' strategy, which integrates operational data with artificial intelligence (AI) to restructure the entire process—from solution development to technical support—on an AI transformation (AX) foundation. As AI infrastructure software (SW) capabilities emerge as a core competitive advantage for businesses, the strategy aims to empower companies to take the lead in infrastructure operations, strengthen service continuity and decision-making integrity, and realize the 'speed' and 'technological sovereignty' required in the AI era.
The group held a press briefing on the 28th at COEX in Samsung-dong, Seoul, to share details of its AI infrastructure integrated operations system, Orchestro 4.0, and corporate strategy.
With the rise of generative AI adoption, the criteria for evaluating a company's AI competitiveness are shifting. Beyond securing AI infrastructure like graphics processing units (GPUs), the key now lies in infrastructure SW capabilities that enable rapid responses to environmental changes. This requires organically connecting computing resources, cloud, data, and development/operations systems while securing control over infrastructure operations—an objective addressed by Orchestro 4.0.
This strategy combines the AI infrastructure full-stack SW built in the previous 3.0 phase with on-site operational data, reorganizing the entire process—from solution planning, development, verification, to support—on an AX foundation. The core pillars enabling this are the ontology-based knowledge graph 'SCORE' and the AI-driven technology generation system 'Orchestro GenDev'.
Kim Young-kwang, Orchestro's CTO, emphasized the limitations of traditional software development life cycles (SDLC) and highlighted the differentiators of the 4.0 system. “Past speed meant developing faster by repurposing existing solutions, but AX speed is about self-generating what's needed and making immediate judgments,” Kim explained. “With Orchestro GenDev, overall productivity improves by approximately 10.6x compared to conventional development life cycles.”
He added, “The real value isn't just time savings—it's that repetitive coding is handled by AI, allowing humans to focus on structural judgments and architectural decision-making, creating higher value. In the front end, we deeply understand customers and markets; in the middle (development phase), AI generates code; and in the back end, we conduct in-depth verification based on actual resource structures and failure histories. While GenDev proves speed, SCORE builds trust by contextually connecting customers' dispersed data.”
Orchestro's AI infrastructure full-stack software includes server virtualization solution 'ContraBase', cloud-native operations management platform 'Viola', multi-hybrid cloud integrated management platform 'Orchestro CMP', DevOps solution 'Trombone', AI inference operations platform 'Concerto AI', generative AI solution 'Clarinet', and disaster recovery solution 'ContraBase Legato DR'.
The group will upgrade its entire product lineup to the 4.0 system. This transition shifts infrastructure operations from post-failure recovery to predictive anomaly detection and proactive response, maximizing service continuity and decision-making integrity.
Kim Min-jun, Chairman of Orchestro Group, stated, “If AI models and semiconductors are the brain and engine of AI, then AI infrastructure SW is the operational system that connects and drives them in real industries.” He added, “The winners in the AI era won't be companies with the largest models, but those that understand their data, control their infrastructure, and deliver business results fastest.”
